Position Summary The Sr. Graphic Designer will support a range of visual communication needs across internal and external-facing projects. This role involves creating compelling, high-quality graphics that enhance messaging, clarify complex information, and align with organizational standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the designer will contribute to the development of visual strategies that are both innovative and effective.
NOTE:
The position begins as part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time based on project demands and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and produce high-quality visual assets for presentations, reports, infographics, training materials, and digital platforms in support of DoD communications Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, engaging visual formats for diverse audiences Ensure all designs comply with client branding, accessibility, and security standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, engineers, and communications staff, to develop cohesive visual strategies Apply industry best practices in layout, typography, color theory, and user-centered design to elevate the quality and impact of deliverables Contribute to the development and maintenance of visual style guides and templates to ensure consistency across projects Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to introduce innovative approaches and improve visual storytelling Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality Organize and maintain digital asset libraries and version control systems in accordance with security protocols Other relevant duties as assigned Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field from an accredited university Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a graphic designer Proven experience in both print and electronic media Demonstrated portfolio of creative work, including illustrations and designs used in successful marketing campaigns (portfolio submission required) Experience working in regulated or government environments is preferred Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if required Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional creativity and innovation Solid knowledge of design and visual principles Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and branding Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), QuarkXPress, and Dreamweaver Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio A keen eye for aesthetics and detail Proven ability to evaluate design choices critically with client needs in mind Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and effectively Familiarity with compliance and secure file handling practices Experience with both print and electronic media Ability to work methodically, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Familiarity with maintaining digital asset libraries and version control systems Infinite Management Solutions, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a 100% woman-owned company.
