Join to apply for the Electromechanical Design Specialist role at NOV.
**Primary Responsibilities & Major Tasks:**
- Create and maintain engineering design and manufacturing documentation for NOV Digital Services Engineering Groups and other inter-company business partners within NOV.
- Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and schematics in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Creo of electromechanical components and systems.
- Generating and maintaining proper documentation for Make items, Purchased items, and bills of materials in Teamcenter PLM software and initiating EN/ECO for release into JD Edwards ERP system.
- Creating and releasing manufacturing documentation such as fabrication drawings, DXFs, label artwork files, supporting Cedar Park Manufacturing.
- Acting as liaison between Cedar Park Manufacturing and Design Owners for deviations, clarifications, and assessments.
- Identifying and resolving engineering specification deviations, submitting ECRs, and improving manufacturability.
- Providing supply chain engineering support to Cedar Park Procurement, identifying risks, and collaborating with partners for mitigation.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Associates Degree in Drafting and Design.
- 3 to 5+ years in electromechanical design/drafting or similar roles.
- Experience in drafting, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PLM, ERP, and adaptable to new software.
- Experience in electromechanical design, machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM and JD Edwards ERP.
- Experience in electromechanical component specification, assembly, packaging for harsh environments, and system integration.
**Job Requirements:**
- Domestic travel to NOV offices and customer locations.
- Follow safety regulations and attend safety training.
