That’s how we’re UNSTOPPABLE for our employees! Our Product Experience Design & Innovation org is looking for a Principal Designer with strong content and conversation design skills. In this role, you will tap into your passion for storytelling and communicate with our customers throughout the product lifecycle. You will own the development and execution of product content strategy to support high-visibility initiatives and will be responsible for articulating how the strategy will improve our customer experience. You will deliver high-value, relevant and engaging content that is safe, clear, accessible and inclusive for all T-Mobile\'s customers. As a principal content designer, you will guide and mentor others and set the tone for the team. You will work backwards from user research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to create the content our customers need. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and show a bias for action. This role collaborates on planning and execution with designers, product managers, and others across teams. As an integral part of our storytelling process, you’ll work on a wide range of tasks, from developing frameworks, to ensuring consistency across all our platforms, to designing information architecture, to owning content quality for large areas of the business. In addition, in the AI space, you will help develop guidelines like voice and tone, and patterns for product scenarios for conversational interactions in AI experiences, ensuring that they are customer-friendly and accurate. Please include a portfolio with your application. Your portfolio should show 2-3 samples of UX Content Design work and/or AI conversation design work. These samples should demonstrate design thinking and process rather than just the finished project.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with UX, Product, and Marketing cross-functional team members to ensure seamless user experiences. Communicate complex product features and benefits in clear language to help customers understand and use T-Mobile\'s products and services. Be a champion for the customer and work to balance business goals and customer needs. Participate in research and use insights from qualitative and quantitative studies and business analytics to solve customer problems. Contribute to style guides and help establish language and tone consistency across all platforms. Guide the development and optimization of content to achieve specific goals and address customer needs. Use human-centered design methods to design, craft, and test content solutions that address real customer challenges. Design content solutions to improve systems, overcome technical constraints, and reduce content debt. Identify and champion the most efficient content workflows possible. Organize existing content, create guidelines for future content, and ensure that all content aligns across channels. Audit content to identify strengths and weaknesses in order to optimize content strategy and performance. Education and Work Experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years related working experience (required) Experience collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to plan, develop, write and edit product content Experience working through ambiguity and executing complex projects Strong grammar and editing skills Ability to balance design quality with business and customer needs Prompt engineering experience (preferred) Conversation design experience, particularly GenAI conversation design experience (preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
