1. Content Strategy & Matrix Development

Develop and own the “US-specific content marketing strategy” and calendar, aligned with product launches, campaigns, and local events. Define the key content pillars (e.g., Educator Spotlights, Maker Deep Dives, Event Recaps, Project Tutorials) and formats (e.g., case studies, video documentaries, photo essays) that resonate with the US audience. Map the content journey from initial capture (at an event) to final distribution (across PR, social, email, web), ensuring a consistent and powerful narrative.

2. Local Events & Project Content Capture

Serve as the “lead content producer” at key US events (e.g., trade shows like ShopTalk, Maker Faires, user meetups, Demo Room openings). Go beyond simple photo/video capture. Conduct on-the-ground interviews with users, partners, and influencers to gather compelling stories and testimonials. Plan and produce in-depth “project-based content”, such as documenting a full build from concept to completion with a local artist or maker, showcasing the capabilities of xTool machines.

3. Community UGC Curation & Facilitation

Proactively identify and build relationships with top creators and community members for content collaboration. Design and execute “UGC campaigns and challenges” tied to local events or themes to generate a pipeline of authentic, high-quality content. Curate, secure rights for, and package the best UGC for use by other marketing channels.

4. Live Streaming Planning & Execution

Develop the strategy and run the show for our US live streams, including product demos, workshops, artist takeovers, and event coverage. Handle end-to-end execution: planning the flow, preparing guests, managing the technical setup (lighting, audio, streaming software), hosting, and post-stream analysis.

5. PR & Thought Leadership Content Support

Create the “foundational assets” that PR agencies and internal comms need: high-resolution photo packs, b-roll video packages, customer case study write-ups, and key messaging documents tied to local successes. Support the development of bylined articles, whitepapers, or market insights based on learnings and trends from the US community and events.

  1. 5 years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or multimedia production, with a proven portfolio of work tied to real-world events and community stories.

  3. “Expert-level proficiency” in content capture and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom; Final Cut Pro).
  4. Demonstrable experience in planning, producing, and hosting live streams (e.g., via YouTube Live, StreamYard, Restream).
  5. A strategic mindset with the ability to develop a content matrix that serves broader business goals.
  6. Outstanding interpersonal skills to interview subjects, manage on-camera talent, and collaborate with creators.
