TEKsystems is hiring: Content Author in Winston-Salem

Responsibilities

• Content Placement: Executing the placement of content and assets for internal and external websites using the AEM content management system. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a solid understanding of web publishing and HTML and CSS. This person will change the content on the site to fit what the business is looking for.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with internal partners to meet business needs and resolve issues related to content authoring.
• Web Page Management: Utilizing AEM tools and features to author, manage, and update web pages and landing pages.
• Content Author Responsibilities: Creating, editing, and publishing written and multimedia content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, and marketing materials, in a digital marketing context to produce engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly material that aligns with a company’s brand and objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a marketing/e-commerce environment.
• Understanding of the shopper experience.
• Familiarity with AEM or similar content management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding HTML and CSS for formatting and styling content within AEM.
• Familiarity with web publishing concepts, including how websites function and how content is delivered to users.
• Proficiency in using the AEM Page Editor (what-you-see-is-what-you-get interface).
• Familiarity with the Universal Editor, a modern UI for content authoring in a content-agnostic way.
• Understanding how to create headless content using the AEM Content Fragment Editor.
• Ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ability to work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders and to communicate effectively.
• Troubleshooting issues related to content placement, formatting, or publishing.
• Adaptability: staying updated with the latest features and best practices in AEM.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
