Overview

We are seeking a skilled Content Designer to join the Developer Platform Experience team. This role will support the Pro Platforms workstream as well as the Managed Service team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in technical writing and content design, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional partners to create a seamless, holistic user experience through well-structured content and design.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, concise, and user-focused technical content for the Developer Platform, supporting both the Pro Platforms workstream and Managed Service team.
• Collaborate with developers to understand technical content and translate it into accessible, engaging documentation and user-facing content.
• Apply information architecture principles to organize content logically and intuitively for end users.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners by proactively reaching out and collaborating across teams.
• Manage workload autonomously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality content on schedule.
• Understand how design and content work together to create a cohesive user experience.
• Leverage user research insights to inform content strategy and enhance the overall user experience.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Map and understand end-to-end user flows to ensure content supports users at every stage of their journey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing or content design, preferably in a developer platform or technical product environment.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with information architecture and structuring content for usability and findability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies and applying findings to improve content and user experience.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Strong understanding of user flows and how content fits into the overall product experience.
• Experience on developer platforms or technical services (preferred).
• Familiarity with content management systems and design tools (preferred).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
