Overview
Moxie is hiring an Account Coordinator to support several account teams in their day-to-day operations on a mix of consumer and B2B / tech clients, including analyzing media coverage, researching, building media lists, and more. Successful candidates will have about 1 year of experience (including internships) in public relations or a related field, familiarity with administrative work, strong project management and organizational skills, and a real excitement to learn about media relations from experienced, successful professionals. This position will be based in either Moxie’s NY office (Flatiron District, Manhattan) or LA office (Culver City), where team members work in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor media daily for trends, competitor news and client coverage
- Create and maintain targeted media lists
- Track all press coverage and create media reports
- Manage and create meeting agendas and recaps, fact sheets, press releases, bios and other relevant press materials
- Conduct and deliver research
- Assist with writing pitches and developing award and conference speaking submissions
- Participate in internal and client brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
- Approximately 1 year of experience (including internships) in public relations or a related field, ideally on consumer brands and/or B2B / tech clients
- Administrative office experience, ideally with Google apps (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and deliver on a high volume of projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
- Proactivity and enthusiasm, with a real passion for media and desire to learn about public relations
- Experience with affiliate marketing and influencers is a plus, but not required
Location
This position will be based in either Moxie’s NY office (Flatiron District, Manhattan) or LA office (Culver City), where team members work in a hybrid environment.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
