Summary
Apple's communications team shapes and shares stories about our innovative products and services and the values that drive everything we do. We’re looking for trailblazing, creative and collaborative professionals from a variety of fields. We are seeking a PR Manager to help develop communications strategy and proactively manage activity with media and influencers to drive understanding and excitement around the App Store and developer initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include driving strategy; planning and execution of major PR programs and initiatives; monitoring and analyzing developments in the news; identifying and managing issues in a dynamic environment and continuous news cycle. Craft messaging that supports compelling media stories, create communications programs, and drive momentum across new products and features.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in public relations, PR agency or corporate settings
Preferred Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be ambitious with a real passion for technology and innovation
- Strong PR experience in consumer technology, digital services/apps, developer storytelling are preferred
- A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to focus and simplify tasks while managing multiple projects and programs from start to finish
- Works well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects
- Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team’s work
- Effective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to participate in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses.
