Overview
We have an immediate opening for a New Business Development Rock Star that wants to join our dynamic team. This position is virtual and is an entry position in our program division with the property and casualty department. It is ideal for someone looking to advance their career with an energetic team of cutting edge insurance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls/emails and close new business from our program division. Field 5 to 15 new business calls/emails per day. Must be comfortable multitasking while being highly detail oriented and able to track workload effectively.
- Build relationships, problem solve, and multitask with new and existing clientele. Act as a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision.
- Train with the goal of becoming knowledgeable and communicative regarding all coverages to clients and carriers. Communicate points clearly and articulately.
- Be flexible and versatile with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and work well with others.
- New Business, Quoting, Marketing, and a career path within the company.
Qualifications
- Job Requirements:
- Ideally has a current State of California Department of Insurance Property and Casualty Insurance License but not necessary for the right candidate;
- Completed a four-year college program and graduated, or currently working toward a degree;
- At least 1 year demonstrated experience as a property and casualty account manager or client manager. Willing to train someone with no experience for the right candidate.
- Excellent writing and speaking communication skills.

$50,000-$50,000 per year
