Description
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in audio amplifier design (Class A-B through Class D) and embedded systems development. The ideal candidate will have strong firmware coding skills in ANSI C, with hands-on experience across various microcontroller and processor platforms spanning RISC to ARM architectures. Proficiency in OrCAD and Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout is required.
This position offers the opportunity to drive the development of high-performance audio systems and embedded solutions from concept through production in a collaborative engineering environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and validate audio amplifiers (Class A-B through Class D, hybrid architectures).
- Develop and implement embedded software in ANSI C for microcontrollers and processors from diverse manufacturers (RISC and ARM).
- Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and optimization of mixed-signal designs.
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and associated documentation using OrCAD and Altium Designer.
- Conduct simulations, design reviews, and lab validation testing using industry-standard measurement tools.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure product performance, manufacturability, and compliance.
- Stay current with new technologies in audio amplification, embedded design, and PCB development.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in electronic design, with a focus on audio amplifier development (Class A-B through Class D).
- Strong proficiency in embedded C programming (ANSI C).
- Hands-on experience with RISC and ARM-based architectures and development tools.
- Proficiency in OrCAD and Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Solid understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience using lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and audio analyzers.
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI design considerations, product safety, and DFM best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- DSP integration and audio signal processing experience.
- Power supply design (SMPS, linear regulators).
- Thermal management techniques for high-power designs.
- Background in consumer electronics or professional audio systems.
