Overview
The Sr Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for drafting scripts and generating story ideas for TV, social media platforms, website, marketing campaigns, and internal videos. They will work closely with the Multimedia Manager and Multimedia Specialist to ensure livestream setup and production as well as develop video programming and branded segments.
Responsibilities
• Generates story ideas and coordinates schedule for Multimedia Specialist to gather and create videos and graphics
• Writes and produces video content for TV, social media platforms, websites, marketing campaigns, and internal video
• Oversees livestream setup and production and assign livestream assignments to Multimedia Specialist
• Work closely with Multimedia Manager to develop video programming and branded segments, such as promotional content, multi-cam shoots, internal training videos, company communications, and City events
• Is responsible for the upload and schedule for the public access channel content
• Understands the basis of broadcast video and audio cables
• Sets up and controls livestream equipment such as cameras, audio board, speakers, and encoders
• Broadcasts and technically direct public meetings, news conferences, and special events
• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
• Exempt - Full-Time
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement
• In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
• Three (3) years of experience
Licenses and Certifications
Required
• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Employment is contingent on passing any post-offer pre-employment screening as listed below:

Basis of Rating
