The Director, Security Marketing Global Events will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact global events for Cisco’s Security business. This pivotal role partners closely with senior marketing leaders and stakeholders to deliver innovative, white-glove experiences that amplify Cisco’s cybersecurity brand, drive business growth, and generate strong ROI. The Director oversees all aspects of event execution, ensuring world-class standards, operational excellence, and seamless collaboration from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies for major launches, executive summits, and high-touch C-suite experiences. Oversee end-to-end event logistics, budget management, vendor negotiations, and compliance. Deliver personalized, white-glove events with exceptional hospitality and post-event engagement. Drive innovation, including AI adoption and creative event enhancements. Manage and mentor an in-house team and agency partners, optimizing resources. Collaborate cross-functionally to align events with broader business objectives. Analyze and report on event ROI, pipeline impact, and attendee engagement. Minimum Qualifications
10+ years’ experience leading large-scale, global event organizations in a B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering white-glove experiences Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience 5+ years\' experience managing a team Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading high-profile events for technology or cybersecurity organizations. Expertise in managing multiple complex projects and cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen and ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and senior stakeholder management abilities. Proven ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement in event strategy and execution. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
