Senior Director of Business Development - Audiovisual Services
Prestige AV & Creative Services is returning to the newly renovated Duke Energy Convention Center (reopening January 2026). We’re seeking a Sr. Director of Business Development – DECC to lead this exciting relaunch.
As the senior leader of the account, you will oversee sales, operations, client relationships, and strategic partnerships—building on Prestige’s 20+ years of experience in the venue while driving a modernized, high-impact service model. This highly visible role requires confident leadership, exceptional relationship-building, and a passion for delivering world-class experiences. You will work closely with ASM Global, Visit Cincy, and civic leaders to reintroduce Cincinnati as a premier destination in the global meetings and events market.
What You'll Do
Lead the launch and onboarding of Prestige AV & Creative Services at the renovated DECC. Translate 20+ years of institutional knowledge into a best-in-class convention center service model. Build and lead a high-performing DECC-based team. Serve as the senior-most point of contact for DECC leadership, ASM Global, Visit Cincy, and civic partners. Cultivate high-value relationships across city, civic, hospitality, and industry sectors. Represent Prestige and the DECC at local networking events, national conventions, and industry functions. Guide sales, account, and operations teams while maintaining service excellence and accountability. Exceed revenue goals and performance metrics through strategic leadership. Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop proposals, pricing models, and branded materials. Provide recurring reporting on revenue, event activity, and client satisfaction. What You'll Bring
Leadership & Presence : Proven ability to inspire teams and engage stakeholders at the executive level. Industry Expertise : Strong background in AV/production, hospitality, or convention center management. Experience : 3–5 years in a senior leadership or business development role within a convention center or similar venue. 7–10 years in audiovisual, live event production, or hospitality preferred. Relationships : Established network within civic, tourism, or hospitality sectors; national visibility a plus. Skills
CRM systems and sales pipeline management. Financial and commission reporting workflows. Familiarity with AV logistics platforms (IntelliEvent Lightning, R2, etc.) and design tools (VectorWorks, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite). Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
