The Company is in search of a Vice President of Development and Marketing to play a pivotal role in advancing its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive fundraising plan to secure significant financial support for the organization's initiatives. This includes providing strategic direction to the CEO, identifying and attracting new donors, and managing the grant application process. The VP of Development and Marketing will also oversee the marketing and communications strategy, ensuring a strong brand presence and consistent messaging across all channels. Essential responsibilities for the role include network activation, donor engagement, and data analysis to track the performance of fundraising and community initiatives. Responsibilities

Create and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to secure significant financial support for the organization's initiatives. Provide strategic direction to the CEO; identify and attract new donors; manage the grant application process. Oversee marketing and communications strategy with a strong brand presence and consistent messaging across all channels. Engage in network activation, donor engagement, and data analysis to track the performance of fundraising and community initiatives. Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years' experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, or business development, with a proven track record in digital fundraising. Strong commitment to the mission of reshaping public education and a deep understanding of philanthropy and marketing trends in the education, nonprofit, political, and advocacy sectors. Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects, build strong relationships, and work independently and as part of a team. Passionate storyteller adept at using marketing tools to engage donors and partners. Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus) with at least 3 years' experience in team management. Travel
