Under the direction of the Vice President of Strategic Growth & Engagement, the Multimedia Content Specialist helps in leading the organization's multimedia strategy and execution for internal and external communications. This individual works collaboratively with department heads and SMEs to develop content; leads production; coordinates reviews; and distributes final content on various internal and external channels.

The ideal candidate has experience creating and managing social media and multimedia assets, supporting internal communications, and optimizing content for different audiences. Excellent writing and editing skills are essential.

This individual is an enthusiastic, energetic team player interested in playing a critical role within the department and organization. They must understand business objectives, operations, programs, services and administrative functions to lead content creation. The Multimedia Content Specialist proactively seeks information to keep up to date with what is happening in the organization.

The Multimedia Content Specialist must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills and be highly organized and collaborative. This individual should be a reliable self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The Multimedia Content Specialist will have an assigned office at the corporate headquarters. However, routine travel to other Didlake locations may be required. Some local travel for meetings and events is also required.

Contribute to the development and execution of an annual communications plan. Lead multimedia content strategies across internal and external platforms, in alignment with the communications plan. Oversee video and audio production, including recording and editing videos for websites, podcasts, webinars, newsletters, social media and internal communications channels. Drive brand awareness and engagement through impactful multimedia content. Maintain a content calendar and coordinate publishing schedules. Oversee photography and organize and maintain a digital photo library. Develop engaging content in a variety of formats, such as articles, video scripts and digital assets. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain a content workflow that aligns with project priorities and deadlines. Conduct research, interviews, proofreading, fact-checking and edits, with strict attention to detail. Attend corporate and community events to take photos or video footage and develop written stories or videos as appropriate. Analyze engagement metrics to refine content strategy. Research best practices for multimedia content and identify opportunities to improve user experience and engagement. Coordinate with graphic designers for appropriate imagery and graphics. Ensure consistency in tone, style, branding and messaging across campaigns. Creates social media strategies and executes campaigns. Manages brand identity, visual storytelling, and multimedia content production. Designs visual assets for social media, print, and digital materials. Education and Experience:

BS/BA degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field and 3 years of related experience preferred. Skills and Abilities:

Strong storytelling skills. Strong interviewing skills Experience with video production, photography and digital content management. Familiarity with internal communication platforms and content management systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience writing for a variety of audiences and communications channels. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong listening and interpersonal skills Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures and the use of office machines, computers and programs, particularly Microsoft Office suite. Experience with podcasting and video production software and equipment, as well as social media management tools. Occasional local travel for events or meetings. Comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization. Ability to project a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers and Didlake clients. Ability to interact effectively and supportively with people with disabilities.
