YOUR MISSION You will play a key role in defining Mural’s voice and storytelling, leading the development of impactful, high-quality demand generation content across a variety of formats—emails, webinars, blogs, web/digital, articles, research papers, podcasts, and more. Each piece will contribute to a cohesive, integrated content ecosystem that is aligned with marketing and business objectives. Your creativity and passion for storytelling will be essential, as will be your ability to transform complex ideas into clear, engaging, and accessible content for our B2B audience. You will leverage your deep understanding of the buyer’s journey, proven track record in B2B content marketing, and exceptional leadership and project management skills to oversee high-impact content programs from start to finish. A strategic mindset, hands-on approach, and experience with the latest AI tools are required, along with a passion for innovating the content experience, especially in how AI can power content creation and distribution. You’ll manage the entire content development process from ideation to distribution and reporting to elevate Mural’s brand and drive growth. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead the planning, development, and execution of a diverse range of content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, website copy, social media content, videos, shorts, scripts, and more. Translate complex product features and collaboration methodologies into clear, concise, and compelling narratives that address the pain points and aspirations of our B2B target audience (e.g., enterprise teams, designers, product managers, marketers, sales leaders, consultants). Proactively explore and implement AI tools and technologies to enhance content creation efficiency, generate initial drafts, optimize content for SEO, and develop rich media. Oversee and contribute to the creation of engaging rich media content, including infographics, short videos, animations, and interactive elements, often leveraging AI-powered tools. Partner closely with marketing, product, sales, and design teams to ensure content aligns with overall business objectives, brand guidelines, and product roadmap. Monitor content performance metrics, analyze data, and iterate on strategies to improve engagement, conversions, and SEO rankings. Act as a steward of Mural's brand voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all content touchpoints. Effectively manage multiple content projects simultaneously, utilizing project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Wrike) to track progress, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. Keep abreast of industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies (especially in AI for content creation). WHAT YOU’LL BRING 6+ years of progressive experience in content creation, content marketing, or a related role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology company. Proven experience in B2B writing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types and a clear understanding of enterprise audience needs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and grammar. Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing best practices. Demonstrated experience leveraging AI for content and rich media development, with a keen interest in exploring new applications and tools. Comfort and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and evolving work environment, adapting quickly to new priorities and challenges. Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Wrike, Trello, monday.com) for managing complex content workflows and cross-functional initiatives. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms. The base salary for this role ranges from $88,000 - $110,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
