See's Candies is a leader in the confectionary industry with over 250 retail shops across the USA. We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing great customer service. The role supports the development, implementation, and management of all public relations efforts, communications and events, including store openings, sponsorships, charitable efforts, partnerships and activations. It includes supporting HR on internal events and employee communications as needed.
The pay range for this position is expected to be $80k-$95k annually; base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as market location, knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities Strategizes and implements public relations efforts, corporate communications and events.
Participates in developing and distributing communications related to product launches, store openings, activations, press releases, coverage tracking, crisis communications, and media outreach.
Researches and identifies partnership, sponsorship and event opportunities.
Builds brand awareness through event marketing and related activities.
Plan, organize, and manage event logistics; coordinate collateral, promotions, and staffing; provide on-site event support.
Lead Public Relations efforts including pitching to publications, media response, factory tours, and interviews.
Collaborate with PR manager on communications, interviews and events.
Coordinate with retail, wholesale and ecommerce to identify key opportunities.
Support internal and external corporate communications.
Report on key performance indicators and monitor media coverage with weekly and monthly reporting.
Protect and manage the See\'s Brand at all times.
Perform special projects as assigned by management.
Identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovation to improve departmental effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications 2-3 years of public relations, communications and event experience with a multi-channel retailer.
Proven ability to pitch media and run successful events.
Experience managing partners/vendors.
Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Self-starter with initiative, strong planning and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
Experience with technology and monitoring programs such as Cision or Muck Rack; experience with social media platforms.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change proactively.
Bachelor's degree required; equivalent related work experience may be considered.
Compensation and Benefits The total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits). Details will be provided if an offer is made. If hired, the employee will be in an at-will position and base salary may be modified at any time, including for performance or market factors.
