Clinical Liaison Business Development Position
The primary objective of the Clinical Liaison Business Development Position is to develop and cultivate relationships between patients, families and a variety of healthcare organization staff members (Case Managers, Social Workers, etc.) as well as enhance marketing and business development of the organization.
Clinical Liaison Business Development Responsibilities:
This position is 100% field based; daily travel to the local hospitals is a requirement.
Provides accurate and timely onsite assessments of referrals for skilled nursing facility.
Develops and cultivates relationships with referral sources (hospitals, LTACHs, physicians, etc)
Ability to successfully review clinicals, assess payer sources, assist with insurance authorizations, approvals and admit process.
Ability to utilize marketing/sales techniques in an effort to generate new business.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and within time constraints.
Team player working closely with internal admissions department and facility marketing directors to grow census.
Researching competitors and industry trends
Building long-lasting relationships with partners, collaborators and other healthcare institutions
Generating new business leads through networking, outreach and referrals
Negotiating contract terms for new business deals
Developing strategic plans to enter new markets or boost sales
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to support business growth
Clinical Liaison Business Development Requirements:
Background in healthcare required
Experience in a Long Term Care Facility, hospital, healthcare facility or other medical setting preferred
