Overview
Were hiring a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Content Manager who lives and breathes storytelling through video, blogs, social, and web content. Youll work closely with the Head of Marketing and CEO to build conversion-focused content that drives engagement, brand authority, and leads.
This is not a typical social media role. Its a hybrid of creative direction, content capture, writing, platform management, and results-driven execution. This role is perfect for someone passionate about content creation, design, and modern B2B marketing, ideally with some experience in website optimization and design.
Content and Responsibilities
- Content Ideation and Strategy
- Conduct weekly or biweekly interviews with the founder to extract stories, insights, and perspectives
- Maintain a living list of at least 20 ready-to-film content ideas at all times
- Proactively pitch content formats such as storytelling videos, walk-and-talks, behind-the-scenes moments, or founder Q&A sessions
- Stay up to date on platform trends, audience behavior, and industry content shifts to inform strategy
- Content Capture and Real-Time Filming
- Film authentic content with the founder during workdays, meetings, events, or casual moments
- Use a mobile-first setup (smartphones, wireless mics, natural lighting) to ensure quality and agility
- Ensure video and audio quality across all shoots, including podcast and livestream setups
- Creative Direction and Editing Oversight
- Direct on-camera performance, delivery, angles, and movement
- Guide shot composition, pacing, and visual tone
- Work closely with a remote editor to hand off footage, provide creative direction, and give clear feedback
- Review and approve all content for tone, alignment, and platform readiness
- Writing and Content Optimization
- Write platform-native copy for social posts, blogs, newsletters, and video/podcast descriptions
- Use AI tools when appropriate to increase speed and scalethen refine with human voice and clarity
- Ensure all content is optimized for both search engine SEO and AI/LLM visibility
- Publishing, Platform Management, and Campaigns
- Schedule and publish content across social channels, blog, YouTube, podcast platforms, and email
- Maintain a minimum two-month content queue ready to post
- Publish biweekly blog posts combining video and written content
- Manage email and SMS communications
- Monitor paid ads across Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, or other key platforms
- Website Optimization
- Build, update, and optimize landing pages and key website sections in Wix.
- Implement strategies to increase conversions, including A/B testing and user experience enhancements.
- Track, analyze, and report on website performance using analytics tools to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
- Strong writing skills with attention to brand voice and tone.
- Demonstrated video editing experience and passion for visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with Wix (or similar web design tools) bonus for CRO/UX knowledge.
- Understanding of SEO basics and best practices.
- Comfortable collaborating with a remote/hybrid team and meeting local when needed.
- Enthusiastic about experimenting with content formats and growing brand presence.
- Have experience in recruiting, HCM, or B2B professional services.
- Have worked in a startup or high-growth marketing environment.
- Are interested in transitioning to a full-time role as the company scales.
