This role is located in Google’s US offices; applicants may be considered for located roles in various campuses as indicated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of visual design experience in product design or UX for consumer-facing products (B2C).
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
- 2 years of experience leading design projects.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of visual foundations and systems.

On the Visual Craft and Systems team, you’ll elevate the visual craft across key AI product experiences in Search by designing elegant systems that scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Mature and evolve the notion of framework by collaborating with other leads to form a cohesive offering across Google products.
- Work across programs to define, maintain, and evolve the tools, processes, and communication around asset management.
- Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product direction, a point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments.
- Defend Google products, our brand promise, and its unique value prop amid an interlaced relationship with Google’s master brand.
- Partner with visual programs within our organization to evolve and apply new design styles and aesthetics for our suite of products.
