Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. This scale brings unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities for our artists and creators.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Manager to help build and scale ad reporting at Spotify. In this role, you’ll own the roadmap for improving how advertisers measure performance, while also developing new reporting capabilities that provide actionable insights. Your work will be essential to demonstrating the value of Spotify’s ad platform, driving advertiser confidence, and ultimately fueling revenue growth.

You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders across the Ads R&D team and beyond, ensuring our measurement solutions align with advertiser needs and industry standards. This role sits at the heart of one of Spotify’s highest investment areas, requiring frequent leadership updates and the ability to navigate complex technical and regulatory challenges across multiple product areas.

Responsibilities

  • Create a roadmap to enhance ad measurement and reporting capabilities, ensuring advertisers can effectively assess performance and optimize their campaigns.
  • Develop new reporting features and measurement solutions that drive advertiser confidence and improve transparency.
  • Own the squad-level roadmap in one of the highest investment areas in Ads R&D.
  • Work cross-functionally with backend engineers, data scientists, measurement specialists, product marketing, and PMs to identify and drive opportunities for improved measurement accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Help shape the future of Spotify’s ad reporting strategy to align with industry trends, privacy regulations, and evolving advertiser needs.
  • Foster a healthy and productive team environment through honesty, accountability, empathy, and inclusivity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience driving technical products and demonstrated impact of measurement and reporting solutions shipped.
  • Experience or focus on data and platform-related products, particularly in analytics, attribution, or reporting.
  • Strong technical understanding of building scalable measurement systems that process large datasets efficiently.
  • Experience or strong interest in advertising reporting and how it drives business value and advertiser decision-making.
  • Care deeply about data integrity and user privacy, with experience navigating regulatory and industry changes affecting measurement (e.g., cookie deprecation, data privacy laws).
  • Ability to synthesize product strategy, build a product roadmap, and execute to achieve business goals.
  • Comfort facilitating planning and decision-making across multiple teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and external partners, and empowering teams to deliver results.
  • Strong business judgment; able to analyze data qualitatively and quantitatively to solve problems and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex measurement concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Where You'll Be

  • We offer flexibility to work where you work best. For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location.
  • This team operates within the Eastern time zone for collaboration.
