Be among the first to apply for a Host/News position at KFGO, part of a six-station cluster serving the Fargo-M Moorhead market. The role focuses on informing and entertaining the community about the latest news, events, and twists in an ever-changing world through anchoring, reporting, and hosting. The station emphasizes live and local content with no syndication Monday-Friday and local news, sports, and weather throughout the weekend.
KFGO is a full-service News/Talk/Sports and Weather radio station with a dedicated team. The right candidate is naturally curious, enjoys going beyond the newscast, writes long-form stories for KFGO.com, understands on-air teasing, and recognizes the impact of agriculture on the Upper Midwest.

Responsibilities
- Anchor, report, and host news segments and features.
- Write long-form stories for KFGO.com.
- Understand the art of the tease on-air, online, and on social media.
- Contribute to coverage of agriculture and its impact on the Upper Midwest.
Qualifications
- Natural curiosity and strong communication skills.
- Ability to tell stories that inform and entertain audiences.
- Experience or interest in anchoring, reporting, and hosting for radio or multimedia platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Willingness to work in a live, local, drive-time environment.
