KFGO is a full-service News/Talk/Sports and Weather radio station with a dedicated team. The right candidate is naturally curious, enjoys going beyond the newscast, writes long-form stories for KFGO.com, understands on-air teasing, and recognizes the impact of agriculture on the Upper Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Anchor, report, and host news segments and features.
• Write long-form stories for KFGO.com.
• Understand the art of the tease on-air, online, and on social media.
• Contribute to coverage of agriculture and its impact on the Upper Midwest.

Qualifications

• Natural curiosity and strong communication skills.
• Ability to tell stories that inform and entertain audiences.
• Experience or interest in anchoring, reporting, and hosting for radio or multimedia platforms.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to work in a live, local, drive-time environment.
