Graphic Artist Job at Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. in Irving

Overview

The graphic artist will create images that may be used for social media and other marketing purposes, revise current brochures, maps and other collateral, and maintain a shared drive of editable files of all brochures, and upload PDF versions of brochures to a SharePoint drive. The Graphic Artist may be asked to complete other duties related to marketing, including developing content, text, copywriting, and the creation of internal documents and images. The graphic artist may be asked to take still photography pictures for the purposes of promoting goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of all software in graphic design, including Adobe Creative Suite and Illustrator


• Understanding of Word, Excel, and the ability to create content including written content


• Managing requests for the development of marketing collateral in response to the needs of business leaders


• Managing the updating of marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards and any updates


• Performs other duties as assigned


• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor\'s Degree Required

Work Experience
4-6 years Required
7-9 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of graphic design, layout, development of collateral, brochures, images for social media, experience with Word including copywriting, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite and other software, good email and communication skills, and ability to shoot photography is preferred.
