GIS Editor - Information Processing Specialist | Austin, TX (Onsite)

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Should be able to work in Apple Maps proprietary environment.
• Complete Client Tools Training for map data editing, edit tracking and reporting.
• Apply advanced map-editing skills after full-stack training.
• Conduct research to verify that requested changes are necessary using internal or external approved data sources.
• Have or develop proficiency with Form of Ways, geometry capturing rules, etc., related to Navigation.
• Learn or apply Direction of Travel and Turn Restrictions concepts.
• Use client-provided software while reviewing requested changes to navigation data.
• Demonstrate general skills in open-source research for map data corroboration.
• Gain fluency with macOS, Numbers, Pages, Slack, Quip, Mail, Calendar, Client Maps, Fusion X tool as needed.

Qualifications / Skills

• Experience or ability to learn navigation data editing and related tools.
• Strong research and data verification abilities.
• Familiarity with macOS ecosystem and standard productivity tools.
