The Role + Purpose: The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the J.Crew Factory Social strategy in order to increase brand awareness, acquire new customers to the Brand, increasing engagement and follower growth.

  • Design and implement holistic social media strategy to align with brand goals & vision
  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media accounts / campaigns and ensure appropriate brand voice and consistency
  • Create and manage the monthly Social editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives
  • Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn – while building presence on Snapchat & TikTok
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness and support growing store footprint
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Creative team on specific campaign content, pre-planning content by Quarter
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Analyze effectiveness of campaigns using marketing measurements and analytics tools; monitor progress on all platforms
  • Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments. Act as the advocate of social, digital and emerging media integration

Qualifications

  • BA required
  • Social Media Manager experience ideally within Fashion/Retail
  • Advanced knowledge of social, digital and new media platforms, including technology, customer experience and integration across marketing touch points
  • Expertise in how Social drives foot traffic
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Note: Availability of these benefits may be subject to work location & employment type and may have eligibility requirements.

Salary Range: $97,600.00 - $122,000.00

J.Crew Group aims to pay competitively within its size and industry. Base salary may vary based on geographic region, knowledge, skills and experience; total rewards include bonus potential, benefits and perks.
