Associate Media Planner Job at Onward Search in Irvine

Overview

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire an Associate Media Planner for a hybrid contract role in Irvine, California with a leading pharmaceutical company.

In this role, you’ll support media planning and execution by managing RFPs, contracts, campaign materials, and financial tracking. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and the efficient delivery of media campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), gathering and structuring partner data to aid in media planning.
• Oversee the media contracting process, including the creation and management of insertion and work orders.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns.
• Handle the trafficking of advertising materials and maintain up-to-date planning documents, such as media calendars and finance trackers.
• Act as the primary contact for vendor billing, invoicing, and tracking media expenditures; update billing calendars and reconcile budgets.
• Ensure all media activities adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards, including the creation of NPP workbooks; stay informed on industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, healthcare, or media buying.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams.

Education Reimbursement

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
