Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you’re available.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Handle the tutoring engagements and invoice for your sessions; the platform manages payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in AP Music Theory with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and perks

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with same-student sessions.
