Job Summary

The Department of Student Media in the College of Communication, Architecture and the Arts (CARTA) is currently seeking a PantherNOW Staff Photographer to join their team of professionals. Duties include the following:

• Responsible for taking photos for PantherNOW and PantherNOW.com.
• Must ensure all photos are accompanied with accurate and well-written caption information.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Story-telling and question-giving skills
• Capable of working in a team
• Organizational and time management skills
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Google Docs/ Drive, and other relevant programs

Student Disclosure

• Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.
• During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.
• Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.
