Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a B2B SEO consultant for a high profile media company. In the role, one will be trusted to work with B2B SaaS websites to deliver strategic, technical, and content-driven improvements that drive qualified traffic, improve search visibility, and ultimately support lead generation and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
  • Keyword Research & Mapping: Identify high-intent, relevant keywords across the buyer journey (awareness / consideration / conversion), primarily focusing on Products & Solutions pages.
  • Competitor Analysis: Benchmark against competitors to uncover gaps and opportunities.
  • Technical SEO: Site Architecture Optimization: Confirm crawlability, indexability, and logical structure for both users and search engines. Identify key gaps.
  • Page Performance: Identify successes and issues with performance metrics that affect rankings and user experience.
  • Schema Markup: Recommend specific structured data to enhance readability and expand SERP appearance.
  • Mobile Optimization: Audit mobile experiences.
  • Content Strategy: Landing Pages: Recommend product and industry/audience page enhancements or additions based on relevant keywords.
  • Thought Leadership: Guide direction of authoritative content creation that builds trust and domain authority.
  • Insights Blog & Resource Center Optimization: Identify areas for new educational content targeting decision-makers.
  • Content Gap Analysis: Identify missing content that could attract prospects and clients.
  • Analytics & Reporting: SEO Reporting, & Insights: Provide a report on BPS organic performance including organic traffic and trends, keyword rankings across various topics and site sections, conversion rates, and engagement metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaboration & Enablement: Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Web Production, UX, Content, and Web Dev teams.
  • SEO Enablement: Educate teams on SEO best practices and how to incorporate them into their workflows

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on enterprise-level strategy and execution within large corporations, proficiency in managing detailed matrices and effectively communicating ideas to stakeholders
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth for large-scale global or regional enterprise websites or digital properties
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex SEO concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and resource availability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools (I.e. SEMrush) and analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with international markets for SEO optimization including LATAM (i.e. Brazil, Mexico, Columbia) and APAC (i.e. China, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea)
  • Experience/knowledge of GEO and schema of LATAM and APAC regions

Location: Work remotely from within the U.S. Eastern Time Zone (Ideal is from within the New York City metro area to go into the office 2 days per work week).

Duration: Full-time Consulting assignment through December 2025.

Rate: $80 – $95/hour W-2 consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location).
