Senior UX Designer

As the Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our Content planning products. You will work closely with the Director of UX Design and Research, product owners and development teams to conduct user research, conceptualize new ideas, create rich visualizations, develop mock-ups and prototypes, and ensure all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness and exceptional visual design. The successful candidate will display a passion for delivering responsive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in UX design and UI technology.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
  • Lead and participate in the brainstorming of and creation of concepts for best-in-class user experiences
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces.
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they look like.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness & adaptive design).
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and adhere to corporate brand guidelines
  • Present design work to the user experience team, product teams, and senior leadership for review and feedback

Requirements

  • Experience - Min. of 7 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
  • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A team player but can work independently too.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience developing UX wireframes, interactive prototypes and mock-ups for both web and mobile
  • Solid understanding of user-centered goal-directed design principles
  • Understanding of what experiences are possible with current digital technologies
  • Ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
  • Experience in designing for the web, preferably for Enterprise products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Current on latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies. Familiarity with AI agent interfaces is a plus.

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid if local, Remote considered if in ET zone)

Pay Rate: $57.14 - $71.43/hr (W2 Only)

Contract: 12-month
