Williams College is seeking a talented Web Producer to assist with the creation and implementation of web content for the college’s public website. This is a one-year term position with the work focused on a significant site redesign.

Responsibilities

  • Build pages in the content management system (CMS).
  • Coordinate with content owners, writers, editors, and designers to ensure timely delivery and consistency.
  • Curate digital assets and help with media selection.
  • Ensure content meets accessibility, SEO, and branding standards.
  • Help identify content gaps and assist with content strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree and a minimum of two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Expertise with web publishing, media selection, and digital asset management tools is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on content strategy, including evaluating web copy for clarity, tone, and alignment with user experience and brand goals.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to coordinate with content owners, writers, editors, and designers, and to articulate content strategy and requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience with the WordPress CMS preferred.

This position requires a minimum 3 days per week of on-campus, in person work, following a fully in-person onboarding period.

Application review will begin on October 8, 2025. Pay range is from $79,000-$88,000, commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month position with a fixed term of one year. This position is eligible for Williams College’s robust benefits package designed to support you in your work and overall health and wellness.
