Overview

Writer/Blogger — We are seeking a creative individual to develop textual content for blogs, social media, and web platforms. Content types may include social posts, blogs, storytelling, case studies, and general copyediting. Familiarity with content editors is a must. Knowledge of nonprofit technology issues is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop textual content for blogs, social media, and web platforms
• Produce social posts, blogs, storytelling, case studies, and copyediting
• Collaborate with various individuals and teams using strong communication skills
• Apply methodical approaches and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• High-level verbal and written communication (English)
• Copywriting and copy editing
• Blogging
• Social media platform fluency (management and content promotion)
• Research
• Content strategy skills
• Ability to self-teach and learn quickly
• Networking (internal and external)

Conditions

• Hours: 8-10 hrs/week
• Start Date: Ongoing (9-month commitment)
• Compensation: Volunteer
