Public Relations Manager at

to join the Brand and Engagement team. The role focuses on shaping and positioning the organization as a thought leader, enhancing visibility for key issues and Plan leaders, and driving earned media results aligned with business and brand priorities. Location: hybrid workplace with onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays for employees within 50 miles of the Berlin, VT office; flexible remote work the rest of the week. This opportunity is open to candidates in the New England/New York area. Compensation
Base pay range : $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr The base salary range listed is a good faith estimate; final compensation determined based on skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives will be detailed during the interview process. A robust benefits package is provided. Responsibilities
Develop and implement public relations strategies. Build and maintain relationships with local and national media contacts, pitch stories, coordinate media interviews, respond to media inquiries, craft messaging, guide crisis communications, and monitor media coverage. Provide counsel to leaders on media inquiries, interviews, and editorial opportunities; schedule and coordinate media interviews. Collaborate with key leaders to develop messaging on policy and health care issues. Draft and edit press releases, media statements, fact sheets, executive quotes, and other messaging for distribution across various media outlets. Support an environment of change and adaptability to reinforce the organizational mission and culture and enable innovation as market, customer, and stakeholder needs evolve. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field. 8-10 years of public relations, media relations, or external communications experience. Healthcare background and relationships with Vermont media strongly preferred. Proven success securing earned media in national, regional, and industry outlets. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and leadership. Benefits
