About the Role

Are you passionate about design and driven by sales success? As a Sales & Design Specialist at Herman Miller, youll be the face of a brand that has defined modern furniture for over a century. Youll guide clients through a personalized journeyblending your design sensibility with consultative selling to help them create spaces that support their wellness and productivity.

This is more than a retail roleits a chance to become a trusted advisor and design consultant for clients who value quality, ergonomics, and timeless style. Youll report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in driving the stores success.

What Youll Do
  • Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations
  • Design tailored solutions that align with clients needs, preferences, and wellness goals
  • Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads
  • Collaborate with the A&D (Architecture & Design) community to grow brand awareness and partnerships
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience
  • Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency
What Were Looking For
  • Proven experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools
  • Ability to lift/move items over 20 lbs and adhere to safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
