The Manager, Global Product Marketing will support the Global Product Marketing Team in the development and implementation of the product portfolio, innovation pipeline and product marketing strategy by category and subcategory to enhance brand story and drive growth and market share gains in priority channels and regions. The Manager will help to lead all aspects of program development, from concept to final program delivery, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive programs to completion, on time and on budget. The Manager will aid in communicating the global product strategy to the regions and have ownership of special projects with manager support. Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing Strategy and Execution. Assist in building an innovative product pipeline strategy to support brand's strategic direction, including maintaining ownership of key categories/subcategories and focus in fast-growing categories and hero products. Partner with manager and teams to support building overall product, innovation, calendar, consumer, pricing and sampling strategy, presenting up to brand management for approval when necessary. Work with Regions to cascade and support all aspects of product marketing strategy, ensuring product mixes are optimized to meet regional and distribution channel needs. Point for International teams to ensure collaborative, consumer-centric mindset as we build pipeline and product initiatives that resonate in International markets. Project Management. Lead daily project management of launches, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams and support groups as a flexible team player. Work closely with cross-functional groups (PD, Package Design, GBSC, Creative Operations) to ideate program details and ensure timely development of calendarized programs. Provide support for recurring meetings with Marketing, Product Development, Package Development, Package Design, and GBSC to track status of all open programs. Lead COGs analysis and SRP analysis/recommendations. Ensure collaboration between Finance, Packaging, Global Business Planning and Product Development to optimize SRPs and COGS across development touchpoints, driving toward brand goals. Own responsibility for the timely issuance of execution elements: Program Briefs, Packaging Briefs, Cost Objectives, DTOs, Bulletins, CPMS requests and copy requests, meeting agendas and recaps. Data and Analytics. Consistently monitor the performance of each collection. Collect and analyze sales trends, category shifts, COG changes, market intelligence and competition, key consumer insights, and other research materials to support launch processes from inception to launch. Monthly competitive deep dives with global analysis of performance by category and brand. Lead post-mortem and competitive analyses on relevant categories, noting industry trends and opportunities. Work with regional managers to solicit feedback on past program performance and synthesize data to inform future programs. Conduct deep-dive analysis on new product pipeline including launch sizing assistance. Qualifications
5-7 years of related Marketing experience. Full-time experience within beauty, CPG or retail industries strongly preferred; a demonstrable interest and passion for the beauty industry is a must. Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships. Self-motivated, eager to learn, committed, passionate, and goal-oriented. Team player with a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude. Strong project management skills with attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Energic and proactive with ability to adapt to frequent direction changes. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills with a balance of analytical and creative thinking. Experience with industry databases (e.g., Circana/NPD Decision Key, Beaute, Euromonitor, Tableau) is a plus. Pay Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is
$85,000.00
to
$139,600.00 . Exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program with potential for overachievement based on performance and company results.
