Summary

Novartis has an incredible opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as the Associate Director, Marketing Strategy. The successful candidate will support the development of and execute the Patient and NPP marketing strategy in the rare renal space and will play a vital role in providing essential strategic input, insights, and associated deliverables to guide the planning and implementation of an integrated customer experience. This position is located at the East Hanover site and is not eligible for remote work. Travel up to 20% (domestic and/or international) may be required. This role does not provide relocation assistance; only local candidates will be considered. Key Responsibilities

Uncover barriers and opportunities to optimize the Patient and HCP digital experience. Collaborate to implement a one Renal approach and align cross-functional teams. Work with agency and cross-functional partners to streamline communication and effectively implement strategy to achieve objectives. Bring fresh perspectives and identify opportunities to refine assumptions about Patient behaviors. Build and embed brand and therapeutic area expertise to inform a go-to-market strategy for the renal portfolio. Develop and standardize processes and best practices across the organization. Disseminate knowledge on effective practices to engage patients and customers and drive strategic behavior changes throughout the brand lifecycle. Create and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives to maximize business results. Support the development and execution of an integrated marketing plan across different audience segments or channels. Essential Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial marketing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Experience supporting high-performing brands in highly competitive categories within the US; rare disease experience welcomed. Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate with Product, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and other stakeholders. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Preferred Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience with patient marketing in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Prior experience developing relationships with patient advocacy partners. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is expected to range between $145,600 and $270,400 per year. The final salary offered is based on factors such as relevant skills and experience and will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may adjust the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation may include a performance-based cash incentive and eligibility for annual equity awards, depending on the role level.
