Overview
Construction Marketing – Assistant Marketing Communications Manager at Franklin International. The position reports to the VP of Construction Marketing and is responsible for developing, managing and implementing strategic internal and external marketing communications initiatives for the Construction Products Division within the corporate marketing function. Responsibilities
Increase awareness of the Titebond brand through creative social media strategies. Manage social media campaigns and engagement analysis across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Create opportunities for marketing content and contribute social media marketing experience to advance the program. Develop and execute digital communications programs that increase exposure and sales of new products online, drive engagement and traffic to Titebond.com. Manage a yearly Constant Contact calendar to communicate with internal/external personnel including sales representatives, customers and contractors. Write SEO blog posts for the digital space. Oversee development and implementation of digital advertising programs through key online retailers. Develop digital content to support social media, Retail Division and product line goals. Serve as project lead with the marketing communications department to develop content for YouTube and social channels, working with outside agencies as needed. Contribute to script writing, shot lists and prop/set development for all Titebond and company videos. Ensure a consistent brand and product image in conjunction with the marketing team. Assist product managers with marketing programs for product lines and marketing communications projects. Work with the Retail Division to ensure all product information on retailer websites is accurate and up-to-date. Attend and support key tradeshows as needed. Promote project/product success through thorough communication and team-building. Assist in vendor selection for relevant product initiatives. Build trust and teamwork between internal personnel by understanding the needs and concerns of key departments as they interact with the marketing team. Supervisory Responsibility
Management of marketing interns. Knowledge And Skills
BS degree in Marketing or related field and 1-2 years’ experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Ability to manage multiple tasks, detail-oriented, flexible and creative problem-solving skills. Strong teamwork, motivation, and adaptability. Working Conditions
Most work is in a standard office environment. Occasional exposure to noise and temperature at customer sites or trade shows. May require time in Franklin’s manufacturing operations with appropriate safety protections. Travel up to 20% for seminars, trade shows, and customer visits, including possible short-notice or weekend travel. About Us
