Overview
Assistant Director, Marketing & Fan Experience, Athletics. The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Experience (Program Coordinator). This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will deliver a world-class experience for fans and manage a range of marketing duties with a focus on generating revenue and increasing attendance at athletic events while following University policies, NCAA Division I, and Conference bylaws and regulations. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. Responsibilities
Manage and implement all marketing and promotional plans for assigned sports (sport assignments to be determined), including ideation and execution of digital marketing campaigns. Assist in marketing and promotion of football, including gameday operations and game presentation. Support fan experience elements for football, men’s basketball, and other sports as needed (e.g., tailgating, open houses, spring games, pep rallies). Develop strategies and build relationships to differentiate live home events from watching on television, increasing fan engagement and attendance through student, youth, family and community outreach. Develop creative, innovative ideas to fuel interest in Bearcats athletics. Manage the student capstone and internship programs (Bearcats Marketing Association). Serve as liaison to campus and student organizations and develop strategies to deepen student engagement with athletics using resources such as email platforms and social media accounts. Participate in revenue-generating initiatives, including student season ticket sales. Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing department. Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or related training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience
