Job Summary
Accountable for managing all marketing related activities in support of the US business. The role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote customer/product programs, corporate awareness and branding including internal/external communications and collaborating with various teams to achieve sales targets and market share goals. The individual in this role will oversee all tradeshow/event planning and coordination, promotional materials, budget management, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Based on experience, there is a possibility that the role may be designated at the Senior Manager level. Job Responsibilities
Develop and deploy marketing programs to support achieving sales targets and market share goals that create a preference for Apotex products, including downstream product specific promotional programs and copay assistance programs; generate metrics to evaluate effectiveness and suceess Create robust marketing programs focused on influencing decision makers (HCP and/or pharmacy buyer) for new-to-market and/or differentiated products (brands/505B2s) and partner with Sales to generate product awareness and demand Support new product launch execution activities, particularly for institutional (hospital/clinic) products Initiate and manage marketing research via outside agencies and/or advisory panels to evaluate product and marketing opportunities and effectiveness Oversee all tradeshow and industry event coordination and execution including registration, meeting management, booth setup and promotional materials Produce and manage Apotex customer programs/events (e.g. Apotex Customer Educational Summit) Partner with the global Communications team and work with outside vendors and advertising agencies to develop corporate branding/messaging and marketing campaigns; including management of the Apotex Corp website, social media and trade publication promotions Assist in development and management of marketing department annual budget Manage projects as required for the department and assist in preparing standardized and ad-hoc reports and presentations Operate in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements Recruit, train, develop and manage effectively the ongoing performance of their direct reports Performs all work in support of our Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion All other relevant duties as assigned Job Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong and proven analytical, problem solving and communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in company Experience in launching products in the institutional space Tradeshow, conference, event planning or project management experience Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment of competing priorities Ability to build strong internal and external relationships, and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration Understanding of market trends, customer needs, financial data and competitive intelligence Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Mentoring, coaching and developing others Experience
