Overview
FY26: Teacher, General Music (Chorus), Roberto Clemente Middle School, 1.0 FTE — Montgomery County Public Schools.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for adolescent students under the direction of the middle school principal.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster a school culture that supports intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of adolescents.
- Supervise middle school students in a variety of school-related settings.
- Communicate and collaborate with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Develop, select, and differentiate instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all middle school students.
- Maintain appropriate records, follow required procedures, and use data analysis to monitor student achievement.
- Monitor the use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
Requirements
- Physical Demands: As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job.
- Special Requirements: Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.
Job Specific Information
- Wage range: $64,591 - $131,472 based on education and experience.

Education Training Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited college or university with knowledge of adolescent learner.
- Certificate/License: Meets Maryland state certification requirements in the appropriate field of education.
