Research Scientist Graduate (Foundation Model, Video Generation) - 2025 Start (PhD) at ByteDance. Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development in foundation models and multimodal machine learning, focusing on generative AI for image, video, or 3D generation. Aim to advance video generation technology through innovation.
- Develop foundation models to enhance ByteDance product strategies and enable new downstream AI-powered products.
- Collaborate with team members to apply research to rich application scenarios and contribute to a feedback loop that improves foundation technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- Final year Ph.D. or recent Ph.D. graduates in Computer Science or related engineering field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch; solid understanding of algorithms; ability to work well in a team.
- Publications in top-tier venues (e.g., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, SIGGRAPH, Multimedia).
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks and large-scale training; experience with large-scale image and video processing and foundation models.
Job Information
Compensation : The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $198,360 - $416,100 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
