Overview Our client is seeking a contract Product Designer to craft intuitive, high-quality merchant tools that power our monetization ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with the Merchant team, designing experiences that balance user needs with business impact. With a sharp eye for visual detail and a systems-thinking mindset, you’ll execute quickly, iterate within established design systems, and partner with cross-functional teams to raise the quality bar for merchant experiences.

Craft intuitive, visually refined merchant tools—blending systematic thinking, interactivity, and pixel-level precision Design merchant experiences that deliver measurable business impact Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content design, data science, engineering, and research to develop comprehensive, well-articulated solutions Rapidly generate multiple concepts and prototypes—knowing when to focus on pixel-perfect detail or to use low-fidelity sketches as needed Clearly present design solutions and synthesize stakeholder feedback into a focused point of view that drives final decisions Balance merchant needs with objectives, designing responsibly to serve both users and the business Uphold and inspire a high level of design execution across the team What We’re Looking For
Must have experience designing for business products; content/catalog management or merchant domain knowledge is a plus Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills (prototyping is a must) and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and the problems they’re solving Attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principles Ability to work within a design system; experience working in design systems and/or product redesigns is a plus Key Responsibilities
Own design execution for specific projects, delivering clear, intuitive UI across merchant tools such as catalog, asset library, and Ads Manager Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other designers to understand project goals and user needs Generate multiple design options and articulate trade-offs, incorporating thoughtful feedback from stakeholders Present flows and user journeys, not just static screens—showing how users interact with the product across surfaces Maintain high attention to detail in visual craft, spacing, typography, and accessibility Deliver reliably against timelines and project milestones Demonstrate ownership at the project level, designing for outcomes rather than just outputs Contribute to international expansion efforts, designing for both U.S. and global markets Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
