VDA is seeking a Marketing & Communications Associate to help drive our marketing strategy, grow brand awareness, and support digital communications. Youll work across platforms to tell VDAs story, generate leads, and support our position as a Top 100 Experiential Agency.

Reporting to the Senior Director Client Experience & Strategy, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone organized, creative, and ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing campaigns to support the lead generation, brand awareness, and client engagement.
  • Create content for blogs, social media, case studies, landing pages, and award submissions.
  • Maintain and enhance VDAs website (WordPress) in collaboration with Cre8 Design.
  • Run email campaigns and marketing automation through MailChimp.
  • Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMrush, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Facebook
  • Instagram/Threads
  • LinkedIn

Video Platforms:

  • YouTube
  • Vimeo
  • Oversee domain management tasks via GoDaddy.

Lead award application efforts for:

  • Event Marketer
  • Boston Business Journal
  • BizBash

Supporting VDAs recognition as a Top 100 Experiential Agency and showcasing brand partnerships.

  • Develop sales tools, including one-pagers, website updates, and collaboration resources to highlight VDAs capabilities.
  • Support internal teams with marketing materials, branded assets, and project communications.
  • Manage marketing tasks and workflows using Monday.com.
  • Utilize Zapier to streamline automations between platforms like Monday.com and MailChimp.
  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and reflects VDAs voice.
  • Identify new opportunities to elevate VDAs brand and industry presence.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in marketing, communications, or digital content management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency across platforms, including:
  • WordPress (website management)
  • Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMRush (performance tracking & SEO)
  • Monday.com (project management)
  • Social Media tools (Facebook, Instagram/Threads, LinkedIn)
  • Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Canva)
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, creativity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented personality with a passion for marketing.
