Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Motion Graphics Animator to create visually stunning and engaging animations for various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion graphics, animation, and video production, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. You are skilled in the use of AI and passionate about video technology. You will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality animated/video content that enhances our brand and drives business growth. You will also mentor other more junior animators and provide input on interactions motion within interaction design.

Responsibilities
  • Create High-Quality Animations: Develop motion graphics and animations for digital signage, social media, sponsorships, branch signage, stage backgrounds, and client communications.
  • Video Production: Produce original videos, AI-generated videos, and animated assets that align with our brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
  • Conceptual Problem Solving: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute innovative video campaigns and multifaceted campaign assets.
  • Brand Expertise: Ensure all video content is on-brand and supports the strategic growth of the business.
  • Award-Winning Work: Strive to create award-winning creative work that stands out in the industry.
  • Efficiency and Speed: Utilize modern techniques and AI tools to improve efficiency, speed to market, and the quality of work.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers, writers, and project managers, to ensure cohesive and impactful video content.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Suite and other relevant software. Experience with AI tools like Adobe Firefly.
  • Creative Skills: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion graphics and 2D/3D animation work. Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas. AI generated video is a big plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a portfolio!
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Animation, Motion graphics, Visual Arts or Graphic Design certificate, or equivalent work experience
  • Six or more years of experience in motion graphics and animation
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience with 3D animation and video production.
  • Familiarity with Figma and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of social media video trends and best practices.
  • Experience working in an agency-like structure.
  • Examples of AI generated videos that tell a story
Location and Schedule

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means theres an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
