Compensation: varies by experience (examples shown in posting: Austin, TX $89,407.00-$151,992.00; $120,000.00-$200,000.00; $164,736.00-$237,952.00; $108,000.00-$186,900.00; $127,100.00-$211,600.00; $177,000.00-$270,900.00).

Qualifications

• 8 Required Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI or a related field
• 8 Required Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
• 8 Required Experience conducting user and usability research
• 5 Required Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
• 5 Required Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
• 4 Required Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts
• 4 Required Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software
• 3 Required Experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines
• 1 Required A portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies that demonstrates a high level of professionalism
• 3 Preferred Documented work experience with the issue tracking software Atlassian Jira
• 2 Preferred Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
