Job Description

Summary/objective

Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages a beverage portfolio that includes global and regional brands. The Corporate Advertising Support position is a key member of the Corporate Advertising Team responsible for performing general functions to support the efficient operations of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position. The role may require working hours beyond standard shifts to ensure operations are fulfilled.
  • Prepare and complete jobs/orders placed by franchises on the web-based ordering system, including marketing point of sale materials and office supplies, as scheduled by the department.
  • Maintain good inventory practices within Corporate Advertising.
  • Ensure production quality adheres to company standards.
  • Produce banners and other signage, as well as other orders for point of sale and office supplies.
  • Organize the warehouse, move inventory as needed, and communicate low inventory levels to the Advertising Coordinator and/or Advertising Manager for procurement.
  • Acquire and maintain training and certification on powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts and electric pallet jacks).
  • Transport materials to and from local printers for printing on inventory pieces.
  • Coordinate bundling, loading, and handling of signage and schedule shipping with Corporate Warehouse to ensure timely delivery to franchises.
  • Deliver product to nearby warehouse using Buffalo Rock vehicle.
  • Follow up with the Manager on departmental goals, workload, and opportunities for process improvements in warehousing, shipping, and scheduling outgoing orders.
  • Assist with preparation, installations, and completion of offsite jobs/orders placed by franchises (marketing point of sale, window shields, cooler wraps, etc.) to meet company standards and brand guidelines.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Perform other activities assigned by supervisor.

Required education and experience

  • Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Required
  • Experience: Prior forklift experience; Preferred

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Must have a valid state driver\'s license, with a good driving record.
  • DOT certifiable.
  • Forklift certifiable.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Other Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of power equipment, carts, hand-trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.
