Overview

Senior Motion Designer position at U.S. Bank. Create visually stunning animations for digital platforms, mentor junior animators, and contribute to brand storytelling across channels.

Responsibilities

• Create high‑quality animations for digital signage, social media, sponsorships, branch signage, stage backgrounds, and client communications.
• Produce original videos, AI-generated videos, and animated assets aligned with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute innovative video campaigns and assets.
• Ensure all video content is on-brand and supports business growth.
• Aim for award‑winning work that stands out in the industry.
• Utilize modern techniques and AI tools to improve efficiency, speed to market, and quality.
• Work with designers, writers, and project managers to ensure cohesive video content.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools such as Adobe Firefly.
• Showcase a strong portfolio with a range of motion graphics and 2D/3D animation; concept and execute creative ideas.
• Lead projects and mentor junior team members; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Maintain high attention to detail and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Arts or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in motion graphics and animation.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with 3D animation and video production.
• Familiarity with Figma and other design tools.
• Knowledge of social media video trends and best practices.
• Experience working in an agency-like structure.
• Examples of AI-generated videos that tell a story.

Location/Type

• Hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3+ days per week; option to work remotely on other days.
• Employment type: Full-time; Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
