About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical-thinking junior event producer who will support our Project Manager in all aspects of production to ensure that high-quality experiences are delivered. You will serve as the point of contact on the production side of all projects, responsible for third parties involved in the execution and development of production deliverables.
This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines within budget. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in live event production and is passionate about delivering results and producing fun and entertaining experiences for all audiences. Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are essential.
You will
- Manage all aspects of event productions, including pre-production logistics planning, vendor selection, hiring, onsite execution, and post-event wrap-up
- Create production timelines and ensure teams stay to schedule
- Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables
- Participate in internal brainstorming and contribute to creative ideation, representing an on-the-ground perspective
- Manage multiple cities and help scale experiences to new locations
- Manage budgets of different scales
- Research new vendors
- Venue research and booking
- Secure proper event permits and meet insurance requirements
- Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and contracts with the legal department
- Travel domestically and internationally and work across time zones as required
Preferred Qualifications
You have a track record of successfully producing events with strong data analysis, and you communicate clearly in both oral and written form. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are detail-oriented, and think analytically about how to create compelling experiences. The role blends business development and operational responsibilities and requires a passion for the entertainment/events industry. You should be comfortable delivering results in ambiguous situations and be willing to roll up your sleeves.
- 1+ years of experience in the event production industry
- Ability to manage multiple cities and coordinate many aspects of an event efficiently
- Innovative mindset to identify cutting-edge production solutions
- Strong network of vendors and venues
- Understanding of technical production requirements
- Familiarity with permitting processes
- Strong learning agility and quick skill acquisition
- Solution-focused with the ability to plan and resolve issues
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of positive collaboration
- Curiosity and a willingness to push boundaries and try new concepts
- Ability to communicate with events partners, brands, agencies, and talent
- Strategic thinking for partnerships and use of data on what events work
- Collaborative and willing to contribute to all event tasks
- Having a strong academic background is a plus
