NOW HIRING: Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Advisor
Location: 100% Remote – Open to All U.S. States (Except HI, NM, ID, MT, AK, WY, SD, ND) Schedule: After training, will be assigned 8-hour shift between 7am to 10pm CST, Mon-Fri + some weekends may be required. Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (First 6 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $55/hour Benefits: Full-time employees eligible after 90 days | 401(k) with company match after 1 year
Overview: Join a mission-driven healthcare team from the comfort of your home! We are hiring a Remote Clinical Pharmacist to conduct prior authorization reviews for specialty medications. This role involves applying clinical expertise, evaluating medical data, and communicating with providers and members regarding prior authorization requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct prospective and concurrent clinical reviews for specialty medication prior authorizations Interpret and apply clinical criteria and benefit plans to determine coverage Communicate with physicians and members regarding prior authorization decisions (inbound calls) Document case decisions and clinical rationales clearly and accurately
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD) in the state of residence (required) Prior Authorization experience in a managed care (health plan) or PBM (pharmacy benefit manager) setting is required Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
