The Large Format & Print Specialist within Quinn Graphics will be responsible for the print and installation of large format posters, banners, custom wallpaper, wayfinding, and directional signage. The role includes assisting customers in selecting presentation materials, processing print requests, and managing the production schedule for print jobs on large format and production printers. The incumbent will operate large format and production printers, laminators, trimmers, contour cutters, review graphic design files for appropriate format settings, and utilize the departments internal print management, cost estimating, and billing system (MIS). Additionally, the incumbent will supervise student employees, provide on-the-job training to new staff, and assist with overall department operations as needed. Examples of Duties:

Print and install large format posters, banners, customer wallpaper, wayfinding, and signage on campus and surrounding roadways; Design and prepare electronic artwork, adjust or manipulate print files to meet specifications, proofread and edit for accuracy and clarity; Operate and calibrate large format and production printers, laminators, trimmers, contour cutters, troubleshoot minor malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance; Provide customer service to faculty, staff, and students; assist with formatting electronic documents for digital and large-format printing; plan signage needs; Assist with clerical and sales duties, including data entry, form management, transaction processing, and receipt reconciliation; Use print management system for cost estimates, job tracking, and cost chargebacks; Determine resource and material availability, and manage inventory of substrates, supplies, toner, and presentation materials; Consult with vendors for materials, technical support, and equipment recommendations; Schedule and supervise student support staff, providing on-the-job training; Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least two years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience in graphic arts, graphic design, drawing, or digital vector illustrating work. Prior digital print production experience and experience with wide-format printing equipment are strongly preferred. Skills in reviewing and manipulating digital print files from desktop applications are desirable. Willingness to work evenings and weekends is required. A valid drivers license is also required and must be maintained throughout employment. Application Instructions:
